- 2009– ISO 9001:2008 accredit by DNV, highlighting our commitment to quality management and customer satisfaction.
- 2012– National survey license by China Customs, establishing our reputation as a preferred vendor for marine surveys.
- 2019– Developed and issued the standard Requirements of emergency cleanup capabilities for removal company by the Ship’s Pollution Prevention Association, reinforcing our leadership in environmental compliance.
- 2021– The Inspection rules for pre–loading Survey of steel products, was officially adopted as the association standard by the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association CIQA.
- 2023– Achieved ISO/IEC:17020:2012 accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment CNAS, enhancing our credibility and industry standing. In the same year, we were involved as one of the drafters for the Marine methanol fuel and Operation specification for bunker survey , issued by the CIQA.
- 2024– Expand and strengthening our reach in the global marine survey sector, we professionally participate the IBIA as their first China members. We have been recognized in our ability as the membership of China Shipowners Association, Hongkong Shipowners Association and the Singapore Shipping Association, Meanwhile, we caught the trend of global green energy, and drafted the standard related to new energies on behalf of CIQA。
- 2025– Appointed as the AIMU Correspondent in China, reinforcing our leadership role in the maritime survey industry.

Headquartered in Singapore, this new venture marks a strategic expansion of our operations, reinforcing our commitment to delivering first-class survey solutions on a global scale.
Operating under the same rigorous standards and service excellence established by our parent company, Teamhead Marine Services focuses on:
- Pre-loading survey services– Ensuring compliance and cargo integrity for steel products, rice in bags, and project machinery cargo.
- Marine and cargo surveys– Covering damage assessment, hull and machinery evaluations for P&I and shipowners

Meet The Team
We’re a recognized, multifaceted team based in Tianjin with a passion for executing precise marine survey and appraisals. We collaborate with businesses and individuals to foster safer and more reliable maritime operations.
Mr. Huang Bo established TMS in 2005, accumulated over 40 years of experience in the marine industry. As a senior mariner, he was the first ever Supercargo in China, and served as Juryman and advisor in Tianjin Maritime Court. Notably, he was the drafter of Inspection Rules for Pre-loading Survey of Steel Products, Marine Methanol Fuel, Operation Specification for Bunker Survey issued by CIQA. Under his guidance, TMS was accredited ISO9001:2008 by DNV and secured the ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation by CNAS, further cementing our marine industry standing. As an SPPA expert, he also one of the drafter of the Technical Code of Inspection of Oil Spill Emergency Device and Requirements of Emergency Cleanup Capabilities for Ship. He holds an bachelor’s degree in Navigation from Dalian Marine College.
Mr. Bi Pan joined TMS in 2005, bringing with a strong background in the survey for Owners, Charterers, P&I Clubs & Cargo Underwriters. As the team leader, he takes the lead in drafting the ISO/IEC 17020 work manual, Pre-loading Survey of Steel Products and BQS standards for CIQA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Navigation from Dalian Maritime University, supplemented by DNV BQS training program in Singapore Grade A.
Mr. Li Jun joined TMS in 2014, with over 15 years of extensive nautical experience as ship’s Master. He is responsible for conducting of the service including Supercargo, Cargo Securing Survey, Draft Survey, Weighing Survey, Sampling and etc. As the leader of the Supercargo team, he has completed numerous loading projects of heavy equipment, windmill powers, as well as steel and vehicles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Navigation from Dalian Maritime University.
Mr. Frank Lv joined TMS in 2018 with strong experience in shipbuilding and repairing. His previous role was the Superintendent at COSCO SHIPYARD. Under his leadership, TMS H&M survey section has become one of the surveyors for IG P&I Clubs. He holds a bachelor degree in marine engineer and MME from Dalian Maritime University. He is also a qualified Ship’s Surveyor issued by MSA.
